GIRO-E 2026: POLINI AND OLYMPIA READY FOR THE CHALLENGE
Polini Motori is ready for the Giro-E 2026, the e-bike event held on the same roads as the Giro d’Italia, bringing its full range of technology into action.
The EP-3+ EVO2 GP system will take centre stage on the Olympia Superfast of the Autostrade per l’Italia team, led by Andrea Tafi, ready to tackle a route of over 1,000 km.
With 90 Nm of torque and a peak power output of 650 W, the EP-3+ EVO2 GP motor represents the top of the Polini Motori range.
Its electronic evolution ensures an even more responsive power delivery and optimised assistance management, while the system integrates advanced solutions such as improved thermal dissipation, Bluetooth connectivity with wireless controls and a USB-C port.
The dedicated app allows users to customise motor maps, track rides and access smart features such as an electronic lock.
The Giro-E 2026 will see EP-3+ EVO2 GP-powered e-bikes in action across 18 stages, covering a total of 1,091 km and over 20,000 metres of elevation gain.
An ideal proving ground to confirm the reliability, power and quality of the Polini system, once again at the forefront of the e-bike world alongside top-level cycling.
